The fourth edition of the Biennial of Thought(External link)<\/span><\/span><\/a> will take place from October 8 to 13 under the theme “The Day After Everything.” This event, organized by the Barcelona Institute of Culture, will feature prominent figures from literature, science, sociology, and anthropology.<\/p>\n

Among this year’s participants are Herta M\u00fcller<\/strong>, Nobel Prize in Literature 2009; Wajdi Mouawad<\/strong>, Canadian playwright and writer of Lebanese origin; Zadie Smith<\/strong>, British writer and essayist; Oy\u00e8r\u00f3nk\u00e9 Oy\u00e8w\u00f9mi<\/strong>, Nigerian feminist scholar specializing in African studies; Jason Hickel<\/strong>, economist and anthropologist; Perejaume<\/strong>, Catalan artist and poet; Bego\u00f1a Rom\u00e1n<\/strong>, philosopher and researcher, and Las hijas de Felipe<\/strong>, a duo of doctors in Baroque literature.As part of the European Capital of Democracy, the Biennial will also be held at the Can\u00f2drom on October 10 and 11<\/u><\/strong>, offering a space for reflection and citizen participation.The curation<\/strong> of the fourth edition of the Biennial of Thought is composed of Xavier Fina, Mar Ros\u00e0s, Ra\u00fcl Garrigasait, CCCB<\/strong>, and the European Capital of Democracy <\/strong>team.<\/p>\n
